IFE – In Flight Entertainment

In-flight entertainment systems have just gone next generation. Now each passenger on certain airlines only can get to ogle a luscious nine-inch widescreen monitor with satellite TV and a choice of movie channels on it. You can chat with other passengers, switch to the Google Maps screen and see where the plane is, or click on the menu, order a sandwich and swipe your credit card to pay for it.

And the entertainment systems aren’t just good for play—they’re outfitted with 120v oulets, a USB port and an Ethernet jack that pipes in the broadband. There’s also WiFi onboard if you prefer.
